The Root Cause

“I have been down the natural path, and it didn’t work. I experienced short-term relief.”

“I follow a nourishing traditions diet and pursue chiropractic care, homeopathic care, and other natural alternatives to support my body’s ability to heal. Yet, I still suffer from a chronic, or life-threatening, disease or cancer.”

“I have followed my medical doctors’ orders to a T. I have had the recommended surgeries and have consistently taken my prescriptions. Nothing is working.”

Maybe you, or a loved one, or even an acquaintance in the community are dealing with cancer, chronic fatigue, depression, or a life-threatening disease. If the above statements reflect where you, or someone you know, are at in your healing journey, please consider the information and encouragement presented in this post. Share this post with others as you see fit.

What do you do when the drugs, surgeries, and chemotherapy have not healed you? What do you do when natural methods and a nourishing diet are not working as they should to kick your body into healing mode?

You need to get to the root cause.

The root cause of the majority of diseases begins with your teeth. If you have mercury amalgams, root canals, and/or titanium implants, particular areas of your body that correlate to those teeth are being blocked from healing. If you take the time to research further and consider the information provided here, and if you take the next steps to go to a biological dentist to have your mercury amalgams replaced, root canals removed, and/or titanium implants replaced with porcelain veneers or zirconia implants, your ailment will dissipate. You will still need to support your body with natural methods of healing as you recover, but you will no longer have a toxic situation in your mouth and in your body.

If you are not familiar with Dr. Weston A. Price’s work, here is a good place to start. In the 1920s, Dr. Price began proving that the removal of wisdom teeth and performing root canals was an incredible detriment to the human body. Interestingly, this is the same time period when our society began to be influenced to use vegetable/canola oil rather than butter, ghee, lard, and tallow as well as eating industrial, factory processed foods (along with a number of other socio-economic influences). These so called “improvements” paved the way to the chronic heart diseases many suffer from today. Our society was becoming (and is now) obsessed with cosmetics and having “perfect” teeth and “perfect” bodies. We all like to look nice and feel confident. But perfect in whose eyes? And, at what cost? The cost of your vitality, and your children’s vitality, and your grandchildren’s vitality, and so on.

The patients that Dr. Price performed root canals on later came back to him with various diseases from heart disease to loss of voice. He removed the root canaled teeth, sanitized them, and placed them under the skin of rabbits. Do you know what he proved? Every rabbit presented the same disease as the person and the rabbits died. For example, the corresponding root canaled tooth from the person with kidney disease, placed under the rabbit’s skin, produced kidney disease in the rabbit, and it died.

I appreciate Dr. Dawn Ewing’s word-picture’s which help us understand what is going on in your mouth and body when you have a root-canal tooth. She describes it as if you kept your “favorite dead cat”. Let’s say your cat died and you kept it in your house. A week or so goes by and the cat has maggots all over it. So, you call the exterminators to do ozone therapy on the cat. The maggots go away…but they are back in a day or two. You call them again and ask them to come back. The exterminators are shocked and think your looney for not burying the dead cat. They’d have to come back every day and provide constant service. You persist, “But it’s my favorite dead cat.”

When you have a root canaled tooth, in the name of saving the tooth at all costs, what you actually have is a festering pool of anerobic, deadly, flesh-eating bacteria which drive disease into your organs. What we aren’t taught to understand is that our teeth are not solid masses with no impact on the rest of the body. They are alive, with nerves and blood, and are more like sponges than rocks. When you chew, with a root canal, toxic bacteria are being oozed out into your food which you then swallow, which then affects your organ systems. Similarly, if you have mercury amalgam fillings, you are slowly poisoning your organs with mercury.

The other layer to the critical function of your teeth is that when there is a root canal, mercury amalgam, or non-biocompatible implant, you are blocking particular meridians which is what ultimately leads to the disease or cancer in the particular area of your body. Again, I like how Dr. Ewing explains how this affects our bodies. Think about if you were to play a trick on someone and you cut the wire to their lamp, removed 1-inch of the wiring, and then taped the cord together. When the person goes to turn on their lamp, it is not going to work. In order for the lamp to work properly again, an electrician will have to come and open up the wiring and make the proper repairs.

Similarly, when you have a root canal, you are blocking the energy flow and preventing your body’s ability to heal of particular areas of your body. With titanium implants, what you have is more of a short-circuit situation, as if you stick a fork in a light-socket and jiggle it around and cause it to short-circuit. With a zirconia implant, you’re in a bio-compatible situation, but Dr. Ewing describes it as having eight lanes of moving traffic with a stalled car. With a ceramic bridge glued on (particularly for front teeth), you are allowing the tooth’s meridian to be healed, unhindered, and reconnected to the proper organs. If you have a back tooth that can be removed without any implant or ceramic bridge, it is fine to leave it there and allow the bone to heal and the meridian to reconnect. This should be monitored under the supervision of a IAMDM certified biological dentist.

How Do I Move Forward?

Keep following a nourishing traditions diet and using homeopathic remedies, chiropractic, acupuncture, cleanses, and herbal remedies to support your body. You’re not doing that in vain! Your body is a whole body, and its functions are all intricately interconnected. Vitamin K-2 from raw butter (from spring, grass fed cows), meat stocks, re-mineralizing tooth powder, essential oil mouth wash rinses, grounding, smiling, spending time with family and friends, and the like, are all ways to support your body in the meantime until you can have the proper treatment from a biological dentist. And, keep brushing, flossing, and water rinsing two to three times per day.

If you’re using a fluoridated, commercial toothpaste, consider throwing it out and making your own coconut oil toothpaste, or do dry-brushing where you just use water. If you’re water is not filtered, I strongly recommend supporting your body with a filtered water system as well.

But, I’ve Never Had a Cavity

Let’s say you’ve never had a cavity, and you don’t have any root canals, mercury amalgams, and/or implants, but you have a chronic disease, cancer, or other longstanding ailment. Consider environmental toxins and your personal medical history. You may be ill due to toxins in unfiltered drinking water (fluoride, chlorine, BPA, etc.). You may be suffering from eczema, psoriasis, asthma, cancer, tumors, etc. due to past use of antibiotics and steroids, or especially from vaccine damage, which drive disease deeper into the body.

Connect with a homeopath and a holistic chiropractor and/or cranial sacral therapist to help support your body through vaccine, heavy metal, pharmaceutical drug, and environmental detoxes. Acupuncture, sweating in a sauna or sweating through exercise, following the GAPS diet protocol, switching to raw dairy products, and taking particular herbal remedies are additional ways to support your body and get it into healing mode.

With any detox, your body is going to push out the toxins. If you have detox aggravations such as acne, a cold, a low-grade fever, or some other ailment that you haven’t had in years, be patient and be encouraged. Your body is pushing it out and working through years of suppression. Your body is fearfully and wonderfully made.

Interview with Dawn Ewing

Hilda: Speaking of the root cause, you’ve given us some reasons dentists might suggest we get a root canal. As patients, sometimes we act on the recommendations because we don’t know any better. We think, “They are recommending a root canal. Many people have had one; why not do it?” I understand from my own research and other interviews that leaving a tooth that is dead in the body negatively affects the whole body. Will you explain that?

Dawn Ewing: First, let’s make sure that you understand that a tooth is a living organ. An organ has its own lymphatics, nerve and blood supply. Think of it this way. You brush your teeth at night before you go to bed, and you run your tongue over your teeth, and they feel nice and slick, but what do they feel like when you wake up the next morning? It’s slimy, and they stink because a tooth detoxifies while you sleep. It pushes its waste through the tubules of the tooth to the outside to be discarded. It’s like what we do when we poop, so I call it “tooth poop.”

When you are talking about an organ, imagine that I tell you I’m going to disconnect your heart, liver or kidney, and I’m going to let it sit there. Your heart is not beating anymore, but it is there. That would not be conducive to life. Is it still alive? No. I disconnected it. We are taught in school that we tell a patient that we are going to remove all of the flesh in the tooth, and that we are going to sterilize it. It is not possible, but that’s what we are told. There will still be flesh in there, but we regurgitate what we are taught to the patient. Very well-meaning dentists are saying only what they were taught in school. If they haven’t gone on to further their education, then they are still misinformed and promoting bad information. Things change in medicine. Once, we didn’t know about H. pylori. There is a lot that has completely changed in dentistry and medicine.
